From the first conversation to the final frame.
Some productions need more than a cinematographer. They need someone who can ask the right questions to develop the concept, assemble the right team, direct production, oversee post-production, and deliver a finished film that serves a clear purpose.
Every production is different.
Some clients arrive with a clear vision of exactly what they want to create.
Others have only an idea—or simply a problem they need to solve.
My role is to meet you wherever you’re starting from and guide the project from concept to final delivery.
Discovery
The success of any production is determined long before the cameras start rolling. That’s why I invest significant time in discovery and pre-production. Before developing a creative concept or production plan, I want to understand your objectives, your audience, your brand, and the role the finished film needs to play.
Once those pieces are clear, every creative and technical decision begins to support the same objective. Whether we’re producing a thirty-second commercial, a brand film, a documentary, or a social media campaign, the production is designed intentionally from the ground up—assembling the right crew, choosing the right locations and equipment, and developing a creative approach that serves both the story and your goals.
Development

Once the objectives are clear, the creative work begins.
Depending on the project, this stage may include concept development, scripting, story refinement, shot lists, location scouting, crew assembly, scheduling, equipment planning, production design, permits, and logistics. Every decision influences the next, and thoughtful preparation creates the foundation for a smoother production day.
The objective isn’t to create more paperwork—it’s to remove uncertainty. When the creative vision, logistics, and technical approach are aligned before production begins, the crew can focus on doing their best work and the client can focus on the story instead of solving problems.
Production

The vision is clear, the script is written, the schedule has been made and the cameras are ready to roll.
This is where ideas on paper become tangible on screen.
Whether the project requires a small, agile crew or a larger production with multiple departments, my goal remains the same: execute the plan efficiently while capturing images and performances that serve the story.
What if the unexpected happens? What if something goes wrong?
No matter how thorough the preparation, every production meets unexpected challenges. Weather changes, schedules shift, locations change, equipment issues arise. Experience isn’t just knowing how to follow the plan—it’s knowing when and how to adapt without losing sight of the original vision.
Hope is not a strategy. As Producer and Director, my responsibility is to keep the production moving while maintaining the highest possible creative standard. Careful pre-production, clear communication, and contingency planning allow the team to adapt with confidence when circumstances change, keeping the production on track without compromising the creative vision.
Post-Production

Editing is where hundreds of individual shots become a cohesive narrative. It’s where pacing is refined, performances are shaped, music and sound are layered, color creates mood, and every creative decision works together to guide the viewer’s experience.
Throughout the post-production process, I work closely with my clients to ensure the finished film reflects the original vision while remaining open to discoveries made along the way. Fresh perspectives often emerge in the edit, and I’m always looking for opportunities to strengthen the story without losing sight of the project’s purpose.
Whether the final deliverable is a thirty-second commercial, a documentary, a brand film, or a complete library of social media content, my goal is the same: deliver a polished, purposeful film that communicates clearly and leaves a lasting impression.
The trailer below is an example of how a story takes shape in post-production. In this case it’s a documentary for the American Warriors series where I spent 2.5 years as a full time series director. This trailer combines, original footage which I filmed including a formal interview, B-roll coverage, music to elevate the emotional impact, historical archival material, and quick cuts which create sense of urgency and anticipation.

Testimonials

“Ridiculously talented” is the phrase that comes to mind when i think about Brad. He is a true professional and craftsman. We have worked together in a variety of ways over many years, most recently as the Creative Director for my company. I have always admired Brad’s growth mindset and it’s been a joy to watch him grow from novice to expert. Plus, he’s one of the few people I know that can truly rock a cowboy hat! He’d be a fantastic asset to any company looking for an experienced creative.

Bradley patiently listens; genuinely interested in understanding what your vision is. Then he adds to it his expertise and creative genius (<—- not an exaggeration) and distills everything down to create a film that is nothing short of spectacular. Not to mention, he’s just a stellar human being. I wish I could give him hundreds more stars….
Sarah Kershner | Marketing Director
We hired Brad to create a documentary style promo video that we could use to help future customers of ours get an understanding of our business. Brad traveled all the way to NY for nearly a week of intense filming. Brad had a plan in place for how he wanted the final product to look. Lighting, scenes, scripts, music tracks, all the way through editing… Brad is a full package service. After editing and working through a couple of revisions we had the final product. All we could say was “WOW!”. It was even more amazing than we could have imagined.
