War Tribe Gear + Girls in Gis
My latest video production for War Tribe Gear was a collaboration project with the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu non-profit organization, Girls in Gis.
The mission of Girls in Gis is to promote participation and camaraderie for women in BJJ.
War Tribe Gear has been a supporter and sponsor of GIG for several years, but this is their first time working together to produce a co-op gi.
GIG ambassador Shama Ko (Dallas, TX) saw my work on the War Tribe “Iceweave” video and asked if I could do something similar for them which would make use of a stunning landscape to convey the Polynesian tribal theme of the gi.
We filmed the video at Ecola State Park on The Oregon coast with War Tribe athlete Alex Barcelona and Girls in Gis athletes Sarah LeAnn and Kimberly Jei.
I’d like to thank War Tribe & Girls in Gis for having me be a part of this product launch. Thanks to the athletes for being tons of fun to work with and thanks to my camera assistant Brent Breitbach who captured all the Behind the Scenes footage for us.
